PASC District 12 Summer Leadership Scholarship

In order to provide more leadership training opportunities to students in PASC District 12 through participation in Student Council summer workshop programs and conferences, two scholarships, each not to exceed the registration fee of an Advanced Gold Workshop, will be awarded annually; one recipient will be a Student Council member of a paid PASC District 12 middle/junior high school and one recipient will be a Student Council member of a paid PASC District 12 senior high school.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the information requested on the official application. Recipients will be selected by a committee at the May District 12 Board meeting. Should the number of applications exceeds that which can be evaluated in one session, the District Director will screen the applications, narrowing the selection to five for each level. The district committee will then make the selections from those applications.
Recipients of the scholarship will receive a certificate to be used at the leadership program indicated on the application. Certificates will be mailed to the recipient’s advisors as soon as the selection process has been completed. Scholarships are nontransferable, and must be used in the same year in which they are awarded, or they will be considered null and void, excepting special situations reviewed and approved by the Board.
